National Events

W.I.N.G.S (World in Need Group)

The Parish is involved in outreach to the Developing World. We support a School in Kenya, St. Stephen's School, Menara, Koru, Kenya. The School is poor and many of the children have been orphaned due to the prevalence of the H.I.V virus. Members of the Parish donate spare cash each week in envelopes titled W.I.N.G.S World in Need. The community wishes to donate to the Developing World directly thus removing the need for middle management. All monies go direct to local project. Fr. Stephen travels to Kenya each year to see the ongoing development and how monies have been used. The people are very generous to the W.I.N.G.S. You can see pictures of the St Stephen's School on this website. Over the last three years the Parish has donated. Here are some pictures.
